  • Safeguarding of customer funds and the latest audit.
  • Own funds against the regulatory requirement.
  • Complaints, regulator correspondence and open investigations.
  • Banking relationships and whether they survive a change of owner.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Why buy a licensed company instead of applying?

An existing company already holds the authorisation, policies and sometimes banking. The regulator still has to approve the new owners, but a new application is usually a longer and less certain route.

Are the companies for sale real?

Listings on this site come from our network of sellers and advisers. We share the company name only after you sign an NDA and pass a short screening.

Which licences do you cover?

Mainly EMI, API, SEMI, SPI, MSB in Canada and the US, VASP and CASP, forex and investment firms, and some gaming licences.

How long does an acquisition take?

It depends on the jurisdiction. The regulator's review of the new owners has its own timetable, and due diligence and contracts run alongside it.

Do you charge buyers?

Terms are agreed per transaction and shared before you commit to anything.

Can I keep the existing team?

Often yes. Many buyers keep the compliance officer and directors for a transition period, and regulators usually expect continuity.
